The food, staff, rooms, and wellness centre were fantastic. Great location, big parking, nice historical building, and good breakfast.
Nothing, everything was great.

The staff here was wonderful. Being an expat Hungarian who lived in the US for too long and got used to the 'customer is the king' mentality, one of my biggest heartaches is when I am faced with poor service in my beautiful country. So when I experience outstanding quality of service I am in 7th heaven and this hotel and its staff put me there. They are courteous, prompt, helpful, and very reasonable. I arrive very late and had to leave the next day, but I wanted to experience the spa services (included in the room price) they offered, so I asked for a late check-out, which they granted me with no hassle. The spa is wonderful - don't do the same mistake I did and stay only for one day - this town deserves a weekend and if yu stay at this hotel you will have a that much more relaxing experience. I was there at the beginning of their summer festival which took place behind the hotel in the castle area - talk about convenience. Overall a a great find.

Excellent location, free secure parking, large room, outstanding buffet and breakfast, very friendly staff.
There is a glass door to the bathroom and it creaks every time you open or close it, not a problem during the day but annoying to another person at night. This seems to be a feature found in many Hungarian hotels, this door fitted well compared to another hotel where there was a one inch gap around it.

Although I was traveling alone, I have a keen eye for family- friendliness. The staff, including the maids, go out of their way to make certain guests feel very much at home and are comfortable. I certainly was made very welcomed. In addition, while leaving the building on the first evening, I saw the desk clerk and one very attentive maid carrying a baby bed and related children's items to one family's room. Few desk clerks in the US or the rest of the EU would go to such bother for a young family trying to negotiate their way to their room with two travel-weary children. I hope the staff at Elizabeth Hotel never loses this ethos of gracious attentiveness. I am looking forward to my next visit already!
The air conditioning did not work. Only heat came out in either the ac or heat settings. But I did not complain because, otherwise, I was enjoying the place too much, and the window opened enough to cool off the room in the evenings when I returned.

We loved the location of the hotel as it was right next to the castle. the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. the bathroom was spacious and fully equipped. the staff was friendly and helpful. the breakfast was good with a few options to choose from. the spa was small but cozy and we enjoyed using it.
The dinner served at the hotel was quite expensive compared to other nearby restaurants.

The location of the hotel was perfect for our weekend getaway. the staff was fantastic and always ready to help. They spoke multiple languages which made it easy to communicate. We also enjoyed the spa facilities- the pool was small but perfect for a quick swim.
The breakfast, it did not offer a lot of variety. We also thought the dinner options could have been better- there were not enough traditional Hungarian dishes offered.

I had the most amazing stay at this place! The location is perfect, nestled in a peaceful area in the center of the historical part of the city, just behind the majestic castle. The serene atmosphere was exactly what I needed to relax and unwind.
I highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

The hotel offered secure parking and had friendly multilingual staff who were always willing to help. The rooms were clean and tidy, which was a plus. The location was amazing, and it was easy to reach the town from the hotel.
The hotel's breakfast had limited options, which left us wanting more. there were very few programs on the TV, and most of them were in Hungarian, so there was nothing for the kids to enjoy.
